Like good wine, certain rugs do get better with age. The process of a 'vintage transition' begins to occur over a period of about 20 to 30 years when the colours used in the original weaving start to mature. The beautiful, mellow toning of vintage pieces can never be reproduced appropriately in new weaves using modern dyes.
In addition to our vintage rugs, we have a small selection of hand-picked, genuine, antique rugs - which are over 100 years old. The majority of our antique rugs use natural dyes. These specific pieces represent excellent investments.
Our team handpicks each vintage and antique rug and imports directly from the country of origin. Each piece is professionally restored and cleaned before sale.
